Mepuarshi India Ltd starts as a textile trading company, with its base in Chennai, TN India.
The first apparel manufacturing unit is set up in Chennai, producing shirts with a modest capacity of 20,000 garments per year.
We power our manufacturing units with wind and solar energy, leading the way in sustainability long before it became a trend.
In order to meet our growing manpower and customer demands, we relocate our manufacturing unit from Chennai to Salem, a major textile centre about 340 kms southwest of Chennai.
We double our capacity by setting up an additional manufacturing unit in Salem and expand into the bottomwear and outerwear markets to meet ever-evolving market demands. Additionally, we add laundry and embroidery facilities to our existing unit, making us more self-sufficient.
We inaugurate another manufacturing unit and add further sewing capacity to our second unit, building our total manufacturing capacity to 200,000 garments per month.
We set up a solar plant on the rooftop of our largest facility, ensuring 100% of its energy requirements are generated using renewable sources.
We expand our third manufacturing unit by an additional 50%, increasing the monthly capacity to 240,000 garments. The company also ventures into the production of Athleisure.
